Japanese Pokémon card tracker
Japanese sets usually come out months before their English versions, and plenty of Japanese cards and promos are never printed in English at all. Gumdex lists Japanese cards with their own set names and numbers, next to the English and Chinese cards of the same Pokémon.
Collect them in your main Living Dex, or give them a list of their own.
Every print of a Pokémon on one page
A Pokémon’s page lists all of its cards in every language, by release date. Pikachu from 151, for example, appears in Japanese first, then in Traditional Chinese, English and Simplified Chinese. Tap a language to see only its cards.
Japanese cards fill Living Dex slots like any other card. If the Japanese print is the one you love, make it the card on display for that Pokémon.
Japanese set names and numbers
Japanese sets keep their own names, such as ポケモンカード151, and their own numbering, so the checklist matches the cards in your hand. Use the set checklist to mark a Japanese set by number, the same way as an English one.
A Japanese-only Living Dex
Many collectors keep a separate Dex for Japanese cards. Each list in Gumdex is its own collection, so a Japanese Dex never mixes with your English one.
Ultra lets you limit a list to Japanese cards, so its grid, its Needed list and its progress only count Japanese prints. How to earn it
Prices for Japanese cards
Japanese cards show a daily European market price where one is available. It stays in euros and is never converted. See prices and value for more.
Help fill in missing cards
Some Japanese cards do not have a photo yet. If you own one, you can photograph or scan it and send it in from the card’s page. Once it is approved, everyone sees your photo, with credit to you. You can earn Ultra with 5 approved photos.
